FALL RIVER, Mass. - Beverly A. (Leach) Silva,
age 67, of Fall River, MA, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the Catholic Memorial Home.
Born in Fall River, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and Eugenia (Woychiechowski) Leach, she was a graduate of the former Mt. St. Mary’s Academy in Fall River and St. Anne’s Hospital Nursing School where she was active in the St. Anne’s Alumni Association.
Beverly was employed as a Registered Nurse with the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River for 26 years where she was Director of Infection Control and Supervisor.
She is survived by her three daughters; Kimberly Dugan of Middletown, RI, Sheri Silva and her husband Michael Cavanagh of Saunderstown, RI and Deidre Wilson and her husband Bill of Portland, OR, one sister; Carol Thexton of Naples, FL, seven grandchildren; Jared, Lily, Maia, Emily, Julian, Libby and Chase and several nieces and nephews.
Beverly was sister of the late Walter “Sonny” Leach.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Avenue, Fall River, MA. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, October 18, 2011, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to her Mass in the Catholic Memorial Home.
