Marina F. Reves
JAMESTOWN - Marina F. (Pashalis) Reves,

66, died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 22, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of forty-two years of Yianni “John” Reves.
Born in Ioannina, Greece, she was a daughter of the late Elefterios and Polexeni (Scheezas) Pashalis. She and her husband started a very successful family business, Tony’s Pizza and Antonio’s Pizza and since have opened numerous locations around the country.
Marina was a very athletic woman who loved kayaking and swimming. She was a professional rower and a member of Noi, the first Greek Women’s Crew Team. She loved gardening, boating, cooking and traveling, spending five – six months each year in Greece. She enjoyed soccer and never missed watching a World Cup match, even at four in the morning. She faithfully followed the Greek National team, Pan Athinaikos and her favorite local team, Pas Giannina.
A wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, she was a very elegant, classy and well-dressed lady. She is being remembered also as a very selfless, caring and loving person who could be quite funny and often “the life of the party”. She was very devoted to her family, never missing one of her children’s games or events and her children’s homes all showcase her wonderful knack for interior decorating.
Besides her husband she is survived by her three children, Stamatis Reves and his wife Nicoleta of East Greenwich, Paulina Reves of East Greenwich and Joanna Reves of Jamestown; one sister, Eugenia Dervissis of Mahwah, NJ; three brothers, George, Evangelos and Konstantinos Pashalis all of Ioannina, Greece and by her grandson Yianni Reves.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00a.m. in the Church of the Annunciation, 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. in the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick.
Burial will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Jamestown.
