MIDDLETOWN - Viola A. (Angelini) Badwey,
90, of Indian Hill Road, Middletown, RI, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in the Newport Hospital.
She was the former wife of Victor A. Badwey.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Alice (Saillant) Angelini.
Mrs. Badwey leaves her daughter Susan A. Viveiros and her husband Antone of Middletown. She was the grandmother of Nicholas Logler and Samantha Murphy of her husband Patrick and great-grandmother of Daniel and Riley Murphy all of Middletown. She also leaves a brother Dennis Angelini and his wife Carol of Barrington as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Anita Nizalkowski, Beatrice Pacheco, Dora Tavares, Roland Angelini, Jean Chadinha and Russell Angelini.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in the funeral home from 5-7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lucy Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be private.
Donations, in her memory, may be made to the Special Olympics Rhode Island, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, RI 02917.
