MIDDLETOWN - Eleanor W. Sullivan,

88, formerly of Middletown, RI, the daughter of Chester and Johanna Wadsworth, passed away at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
After graduating from Hazard Memorial High School, this Point Hummer attended Milgram Secretarial School. While there, for over a decade, she toured extensively in Europe as well as visiting Japan, Cuba, and the Caribbean.
Eleanor's final career stop was a long one, working as an administrative assistant at Naval Underwater Systems Center, until she retired at age 77.
She loved Broadway Theater, fashion magazines, old movies, social gatherings, and evening rides around the Ocean Drive. In short, she was the All-American girl from the Greatest Generation.
Her two sisters, Kathleen Wadsworth and Laura W. Peckham, as well as her estranged husband, Patrick F. Sullivan, predeceased Eleanor.
She leaves behind her only child, Terrence Sullivan of Hingham, MA, and her two grandchildren, Ryan and Elaine.
