NEWPORT - Albert J. Sardella, Jr.,
passed away at the Newport Hospital on Thursday, April 7, 2011.
He was the son of the late Rose (Medeiros) and Robert Albert Sardella, Sr.
He was a lifelong Newporter with the exception of twelve years living in New York City.
While in N.Y.C. he was a designer of clothes, jewelry and theater.
He leaves behind a partner Anton Vasak, a sister Lynn McDonnell and brother-in-law Joseph McDonnell. He also leaves a close cousin, Liz Lapierre, his uncle Frank Raposa of Portsmouth, RI and aunt Helen Raposa of Florida. Also many cousins.

Burial is private.
