BOSTON, Mass. - Lloyd Michael “Mike” Rives,
of Boston, a World War II Veteran, age 89, died Thursday, April 14, in Boston after a short illness.
He is lovingly survived by his niece, Peach Warren of Hopedale, MA, and his Nephews, John H. Rives of Worcester, MA, and Peter Rives of Gilford, NH. Mr. Rives was a graduate of Princeton University and worked for the U.S. Government as a Foreign Service Diplomat for many years.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Lloyd Michael Rives to The Preservation Society of Newport County, Attn: Development Office, 424 Bellevue Ave., Newport RI 02840, or The Fresh Air Fund, 633 Third Ave., 14th Floor, NY, NY 10017.
