TIVERTON - Philip E. Combellack,
91, of Tiverton, RI died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 2, 2011.
Born in New Gloucester, Maine October 30, 1919 he was the son of James Henry and Hazel (Marston) Combellack.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Barbara (Andrews) Combellack, his daughter Jane, son Richard and wife Pamela, 2 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren: Jason Silvia and wife Angela, and Penelope Ann of Chicago, IL, Andrew Silvia and wife Erica, and Caleb Andrew of Zanesville, OH along with several nieces and nephews.
3 brothers, Wilfred, Earle and Kenneth Combellack, along with a sister Geneva Smith, predeceased him.
He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in Northern France. He had retired from Raytheon in 1976 after 30 years of service.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 with a service to commence at 12:30 p.m. in the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton, RI with visitation prior to service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.
