PORTSMOUTH - Ana (Cabral) Moura,
of 5 Valhalla Drive, Portsmouth, RI, died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at home surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Antonio S. Moura.
Born in Santa Maria, Azores on November 8, 1919, she was the daughter of Antonio Cabral and Maria Jose Andrade Cabral. Ana moved to the United States in 1976 and resided in Cambridge, MA then Somerville, MA. In 2003, she moved to Portsmouth where she lived with her daughter.
She is survived by her two daughters, Zenalia Arruda and her husband Antonio S. Arruda of Portsmouth, RI and Maria Alice Sousa (wife of the late Joseph Sousa), also of Portsmouth, and her grandchildren, Antonio Jose Arruda, Henry M. Arruda, Grace Arruda, Paula Arruda, Elsa Arruda-Ziniti, and Ann Riley, as well as 4 great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Jose Cabral and Maria doCarmo Cabral.
Calling hours will be held today, January 24, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown.
