Diana D. Hepting
RALEIGH, N.C. - Diana Duncan Hepting,

70, of Raleigh, North Carolina, and formerly of New York City, New York and Newport, Rhode Island, died on Monday, August 2, 2010. She was born on September 13, 1939 in New York City, New York.
Diana was the devoted wife of George Carleton Hepting, who survives her. She is also survived by her three children: Anne Flegenheimer and husband Mark, Saginaw, MI; Caroline Hepting, Raleigh, NC; and Dyson Hepting and wife Samantha, Raleigh, NC; and four grandchildren, Trevor and Katie Flegenheimer and Alec and Madeleine Hepting; and sister Mildred Baker of Boyce, VA. In addition, she is survived by her brother-in-law, John B. Hepting and her beloved dog, Buster.
Diana was a past member of the New York Junior League, the Colony Club, and a board member of The Newport Garden Club.
The Family will receive friends at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 3:30 until 5p.m.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Church of the Nativity in Raleigh, NC.
Interment to follow at a later date in Newport, RI.
Diana was preceded in death by her brother Ransom Duncan, sister Jermaine Duncan and parents Dyson and Mildred Hooker Duncan.
