Anna M. Pandolfo
NEWPORT - Anna M. Pandolfo,
94, of Eustis Avenue, Newport, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at the Village House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Mariano “Larry” Pandolfo.
She was born in Middletown, CT, on November 23, 1913.
Anna was a member of Middletown and Newport Senior Citizens Organizations, a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and a member of St. Mary’s Women’s Guild, Newport Women’s Bocce Club, and the Sons of Italy. Anna worked and retired from the General Electric Company.
Her daughters Joan Kirwin and Ellen Condon; sons-in-law Jim Kirwin and Robert Condon; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren survive her.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, Spring Street, Newport. Burial will be at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Middletown, RI.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, from 5-7 p.m. in the O’Neill-Hayes Funeral Home, 465 Spring Street, Newport, RI.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the compassionate and dedicated care extended to Anna by all her caregivers and friends at Village House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and to Odyssey Healthcare, 2374 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886, and Dr. Harold A. Sanders.
