PORTSMOUTH - M. Lorraine (Coelho) Rego,
77, of Freeborn Street, Portsmouth, RI, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI.
She was the wife of Herbert A. Rego for 54 years.
Born in Portsmouth, RI, on August 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Lima) Coelho.
Her husband Herbert A. Rego survives her.
Mrs. Rego was a Communicant of St. Anthony’s Church. She graduated from St. Catherine’s Academy in 1950. Mrs. Rego was an avid reader and enjoyed music and dancing.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at 9 a.m., from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be held in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
