QUINCY, Mass. - Beatrice Marion (Ramsdell) FitzGerald,

92, formerly of Quincy, MA died Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the John Clarke Nursing Center, Middletown, RI.
She was the wife of the late Gilbert Iveson FitzGerald.
Born in Brockton, MA on December 25, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Marion (Mann) Ramsdell.
The H.E. Harris Stamp Company in Boston employed Mrs. FitzGerald for several years. She was an active member of the South Shore Bird Club, Appalachian Mountain Club and the Quincy Historical Society. In addition, she was the leader of a Camp Fire Girls group, a volunteer at the former Quincy Hospital, now Quincy Medical Center, and was responsible for arranging baptisms at Bethany Congregational Church, Quincy. Mrs. FitzGerald also enjoyed sailing and camping, and was a world traveler.
She leaves a daughter, Sandra F. King of Newport, Rhode Island, a son, Kenneth G. FitzGerald of Milton, MA and two brothers Sylvester Ramsdell of Hingham, MA and Arthur Ramsdell of Somerville, MA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Congregational Church, 18 Spear Street, Quincy, MA 02169 with the Rev. William C. Harding, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be private.
