DEVON, Pa. - Miriam P. (Poulterer) Monsell,
age 89, of Devon, PA died on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Life Care Hospice of West Chester, West Chester, PA.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 18, 1918, the daughter of the late Frank E. Poulterer and the late Emma Bear (Dick) Poulterer.
She was the wife of the late Marshall A. Monsell, Jr. They were married in the Old Swedes Church in Philadelphia on September 21, 1946.
She had three sons, Carey A. Monsell and his wife Claudia, Mark A. Monsell and his wife Trisha and Marhsall A. Monsell III and his wife Litsa.
Miriam graduated from Upper Darby High School and Pierce Junior College. She was a homemaker. She previously worked as a secretary at John Winemakers and the Germantown Manufacturing Co. She was a volunteer at St. Davids Episcopal Church in Wayne, PA where she worshipped.
Friends were invited to the funeral service at the St. Davids Episcopal Church, Wayne, PA, today, April 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. Burial was in St. Davids Church Cemetery in Wayne, PA.
