SARASOTA, Fla. - Pauline A. “Polly” Monsen,
79, of Sarasota, Florida passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008.
She was born August 17, 1928 in Medway, Massachusetts and moved to Sarasota 23 years ago from Newport, Rhode Island. She was married to the late Henry Monsen for 54 years.
She worked for Newport Electric and Sears in Newport.
She is survived by her son; Paul (Janice) of Sarasota, FL, stepson Michael (Winnie Pat) of Lilburn, GA, five grandchildren; Kristen and Kevin of Sarasota, FL, Kyle of Tallahassee, FL, Melissa of Atlanta, GA and Patrick of Steamboat Springs, CO and one brother Stanley Rabette of Ashland, MA.
Polly has touched a lot of people in her life and everyone who knew her loved her. She was a kind and gentle woman, a loving mother and outstanding grandmother.
Memorial services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Sarasota, FL.
Cremation with Dignity entrusted through Jennings Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sarasota, FL.
