Westmoreland on leave : Ryan Westmoreland, the No. 1 prospect in the Boston Red Sox farm system, will take a medical leave of absence after he was diagnosed with a "cavernous malformation of the brain," the team announced Saturday. The former Portsmouth High School star will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
