MOORESTOWN, N.J. - Loretta M. Oborne
passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010, at her home in Moorestown, NJ. She was 91.
Born in Providence, RI, she grew up in Barrington, RI and was a resident of Portsmouth, RI, for over 40 years before moving to New Jersey.
She worked as a secretary in the Portsmouth School Department for 35 years.
Mrs. Oborne was the wife of the late Charles L. Oborne. She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte M. Gillispie of Pelham, NH, and Deborah A. Smith of Moorestown, NJ, with whom she resided; a sister, Esther Collard of Somerset, MA; five grandchildren, Erin Blecharczyk, James Gillispie, Lindsay Smith, Emma Smith, and David Collucci; and two nieces, Linda Ruscher and Katherine Travis.
There will be no Viewing. A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 in St. Mary’s Churchyard, 324 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
